Cory Phillips
FOUNDER
Cory is the founder of Take One and has been acting since 2005. He started the team back in 2007 as a way to do improv to help his acting career. Cory has led his actors with charisma and stamina rivaled by none. His commitment to Take One has been an inspiration to everyone.
Dani Phillips
DIRECTOR
Danielle is an actress, writer, horse lover, and cracker enthusiast. Most weekends she can be found performing or practicing improv, and when not playing pretend she enjoys cracking open a good sci-fi book. She has a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Texas Tech University and previously worked as a reporter and anchor.
Clara Curtis
CAST
Clara, a quirky vigilante, sells restaurant equipment by day and creates silly characters by night. She fell in love with improv in 2016 after discovering classes through a Game Grumps video, joined OKCI that evening, and became part of Take One three years later. With a BFA in Illustration from SCAD, she surprisingly spends more time in comedic make-believe and creating pirate crews for her DnD glamor bards. In her free time, she flips plates to identify makers and memorizes dinosaur facts.
Kristian Eros

Yes, she uses the ever-pretentious sounding middle name because, prior to the pandemic, she had planned on doing the Broadway thing in New York. Alas! Now she’s thrilled to be in Dallas as a theatre, improv, and voice over actress! In her free time she enjoys rock climbing, watching Period Dramas, and any other hobby an 80 year old woman might enjoy!
